Chapter 97
Landon's POV
I returned back to the restaurant and ordered another plate of salmon salad and this time with a glass of champagne. I was still famished and so I decided to grab more salmon salad while I waited for my broken car to get fixed.
The same waitress who had earlier taken our orders returned with my freshly prepared salmon and champagne and placed it on the table.
I smiled at the waitress and watched as she walked away from me before digging into my food without minding that I was surrounded by onlookers and gossipers.
I ravenously scooped large spoonfuls of my salmon into my mouth and devoured it hungrily. I was hungry and needed something to fill my stomach and this salmon was just the right dish I needed because it had a very sumptuous taste.
