Mason's POV
The second phase of the ceremony was to be held later in the night when the moon had reached its highest peak and was shining and hovering brightly above the Red Moon pack.
I stood close to a window in my room, soliloquizing to myself when a knock pulled me out of my foggy thoughts.
The door opened and Kyla stepped in looking worn out and visibly angry. The serene atmosphere changed as soon as she walked through the door.
“Why did you do this to me?." Kyla asked with an angry tone. This was beyond her imagination and comprehension. Mason's promise to her was to dump Alivia on the spot of the bonding ceremony but he didn't keep his promises.
