Alivia's POV
Mason suddenly banged his palm on the desk, giving me a scare. I actually had goosebumps coating my skin. It was unexpected, loud and frightening. I wasn't expecting him to do that, considering that he had been silent since Kyla barged in and was ranting like some nutcase on the loose. That was an overreaction on his own side and I did not blame him or hold it against him. Kyla had pissed him off and he's action justified how angry he was.
“How dare you Kyla? What nonsense! ." Mason belted with scorn laced in his baritone voice.
“You do not get to talk to me with such disrespectful manner of approach. I demand you apologize or get the hell away from here.” Mason authoritatively gave out two options to Kyla who snorted with a smirk..
