What the hell was Madison doing in Pennsylvania? How did she know I was here? My heart sank with fear.
Now I understand what she meant during her last visit. Madison is the last person who would ever wish to see me live happily.
I watched her as I and Felix left the reception. I wasn't sure if Felix recognized her. He barely looks at women.
Things have become more complicated than I ever thought. Madison had given a condition some days back: to leave Felix and return to Clyde, who never loved me, or die a miserable death.
“ Sit, I have ordered something else for you. The breakfast I ordered earlier has become cold. You need something hot"
