Treatment part 4

"You! …" "Don't be rude, Little Ning. Grandpa is fine, I just need to rest a little. Go close the door." Following the mouthful of blood, Old Jin could immediately feel the immense pain disappear without a trace and his entire body felt relaxed. Of course, Old Jin knew that Daemon had succeeded! He had been looking at Daemon with a mixture of gratitude, praise, and shock when his precious granddaughter barged in and caused a mess, which caused his expression to shift into one of abject apology. This was his Savior after all, how could this debutante shove him around and scold him… "Grandpa, are you really alright?"  Jin Ning'er only began to inspect Old Jin's face closely after he insisted that he was alright and realise that there was indeed a healthy glow to his face. She was instantly confused and slightly suspicious. But at least she was less worried about her grandfather. If he said that he was alright, he definitely was. At least his condition didn't worsen after the treatment. Jin Ning'er bit her lip as she looked at Daemon, who was drenched in blood, with the intent of saying something, before ultimately obeying her grandfather and turning around to close the door. "Nine Heavenly Chakra Needles Technique! Nine Heavenly Chakra Needles Technique! I've finally been enlightened, so this is the Nine Heavenly Chakra Needles Technique! Amazing, truly amazing! There's hope for traditional Traditional medicine to prosper!" Old Jin muttered to himself as his eyes were filled with amazement and excitement but also a slight hint of disappointment. The younger generation is constantly replacing the older generation. The Best Miracle Doctor in A-Country ? It was likely that the owner of that title would change from that day onwards! However, that trace of disappointment was quickly replaced by genuine excitement and happiness. "God has had mercy on me, allowing old me to witness the Nine Heavenly Chakra Needles Technique in my lifetime and to have my life saved by this legendary technique, what other complaints could I possibly have?" Old Jin lowered his head to see the nine treasured gold needles that he had painstakingly collected for several decades sticking out of his chest as streams of cooling sensations flowed from his chest to the rest of his body. He could no longer suppress the satisfied smile on his ruddy face. The way he looked at Daemon was sincerer than the way a mother looked at her son-in-law. "Daemon, why are you still on the ground? Do you need me to help you up personally?" Old Jin was about to get up as he said. Daemon had already finished regulating his breath. He opened his eyes and chuckled, "Ha, Elder's complexion is finally back to normal…" Even though Old Jin's complexion had also been red even before the treatment, that red stemmed from his constant supplementation and excess of heart fire. It was not the normal ruddy complexion of a healthy person. "How long more do these nine gold needles of yours have to stay on my body?" "About half an hour will be sufficient… What? My gold needles?" The purpose of Daemon transferring the nine streams of spiritual energy into Old Jin's body through the gold needle was to suppress the Gu Insect, but the spiritual energy had not been stabilized yet, therefore, the needles could not be removed yet. Daemon was puzzled, since when had they become his gold needles? Old Jin nodded his head and chuckled, "Only you know how to use these gold needles, who else's would they be?" Daemon scratched his head. "What you're saying is…you're giving these nine gold needles to me?" Old Jin nodded his head in all seriousness. "Alright, I'll take them then. Hehe…" The funny thing was, his goal had been to obtain silver needles when he first agreed to help, but instead, the owner himself gifted Daemon the gold needles, what reason did he have to reject? "Hmph, I've never seen anyone like you, not even a thank you!"  Jin Ning'er had already entered the room for quite some time. She stood there quietly observing the conversation between her grandfather, who was lying in a chair, and Daemon, who was casually sitting on the ground like a degenerate. It was only then that she interrupted. Old Jin had not coughed since he vomited blood. If she still could not tell that Daemon had temporarily fixed her grandfather's illness, she would be considered a disgrace as Old Jin's granddaughter. Old Jin shook his head, "Little Ning, Daemon is your grandfather's life savior, I should be the one saying thank you. From now onwards, you're not allowed to be rude to him, understand?" Daemon sat there with his arm on the ground as support and his body leaning backward. He grinned at  Jin Ning'er with a smug look on his face. "Hmph! No one was being rude to him, he was the one being rude all along!" Jin Ning'er suddenly remembered their bet and could not hold in her anger as she looked at Daemon's shameless smirk. Of course, what Jin Ning'er was feeling deep within was apparent to everyone. Her elated and grateful expression had revealed everything. "Little Ning, bring Daemon into the house to take a shower and get him suitable clothes. His clothes are stained with blood and completely unwearable." This time,  Jin Ning'er did not object. She stared at Daemon with her big bright eyes and said sweetly, "Get up already, why are you still on the ground?" Daemon lifted his hand. Initially,  Jin Ning'er had the intention to help Daemon up, but she stopped in her tracks after taking one look at her grandfather. Instead, she stomped her feet and tipped her chin up, "I'm not going to help you up. Ultimately, you're the one suffering if you don't shower." "Sigh, what a rough life…" Daemon got up in one swift motion and said to Old Jin, "I'm going to take a shower, I'll remove the needles in half an hour." Old Jin let out a satisfied chuckled and said, "Alright, move along. Didn't you notice that Little Ning has already entered the house to prepare your bath?" As he looked at Daemon swaggering into the house, Old Jin slowly slipped into deep thoughts. He could not possibly dismiss Daemon with a mere nine gold needles after he had saved his life, right? Especially since Daemon had mentioned just now that in two months' time, he would be able to force out the Gu Insect that had been plaguing his body for the past 40 years.
