Of course, Daemon could use the acupuncture techniques themselves to alleviate Jin Dong's symptoms, but without the spiritual energy's help, it would be impossible to achieve the desired effects.
Daemon clearly knew that he had only achieved the initial stage in his Body Tempering Stage and because of his qi constantly absorbed by God stone he was unable to manually control and mobilize the spiritual energy within his body.
The reason he was still confident was that he understood the functions of silver or gold needles.
Both gold or silver needles were the best conductors for spiritual energy.
To simplify, if spiritual energy was an electrical current, the needle would be a wire; if spiritual energy was flowing water, the needle would be a channel.
According to Daemon's past experience, the spiritual energy within his body would start pouring endlessly from his fingertips into the gold needle the moment he picked it up without the need for him, use any techniques at all before he placed the needle into the patient's body.
It was the same concept as connecting an electrical current or turning on a tap.
Now, the spiritual energy within Daemon's body was completely immobile. It was as if Daemon was guarding a fortress filled with treasures but he was unable to use a single one of them!
Daemon had miscalculated this time around.
What could he possibly do? Give up on the treatment? Or insisting on carrying out the acupuncture without the help of his spiritual energy?
As Daemon poured all his energy into utilizing his Qi manipulation technique, his brain was constantly scrambling for ideas to fix his current situation.
That would be too embarrassing, definitely not my style!
As he saw that the old man had already removed his jacket and was removing his shoe, Daemon started to panic and look around. Then, his eyes landed on the Golden Statue sitting on the stone table!
That's it!
Daemon did not bother to let his thoughts trail on as he stuck out his left arm and quickly grabbed onto the lustrous Golden Statue!
Daemon held the Golden Statue in his left hand and the gold needles in his right as he began to practice his Qi manipulation Technique madly while using himself as a bridge!
If it was visible to the naked eye, anyone would be able to see that the spiritual energy contained within the Golden Statute was rushing into Daemon's body directly!
In order to treat this Old Jin, Daemon was not in a position to care much about anything else.
It's working!
Daemon realized that the spiritual energy within him began to move with the help of the spiritual energy that was surging in from the Golden Statute, along with his frenzied practicing of his Qi- Manipulation Technique!
Daemon pushed himself even harder with his Qi-Manipulation Technique and soon enough, the spiritual energy within his body began to mobilize and combine with the spiritual energy that was flooding in from the Golden Statute as it circulated through the designated pathways in his body!
It was a complex theory, but simply because both elements were spiritual energy and had the same properties, the spiritual energy couldn't possibly stay hidden and stationary as Daemon poured all his strength into mobilizing it.
The nine gold needles in Daemon's right hand were instantly overflowing with spiritual energy!
Success! Daemon was elated!
Right then, Jin Dong had just finished removing his socks and shoes and was standing on the pair of old Traditional cloth shoes that he had just removed. He smiled right at Daemon, "Mister Daemon, are you done? Can we begin with the acupuncture?"
Daemon smiled as he nodded his head. Just in time!
He took a few steps towards Jin Dong with his left hand clutching onto the Golden Statute and the nine gold needles in his right.
"Old Jin, there are two purposes of acupuncture treatment. One is to keep the Gu Insect inside your body under control, making it impossible for it to cause any harm for the next two months. The second purpose is to nurse your lung meridian and temporarily stop your coughing!"
"It may be really painful in a moment, but please try to stay still!"
After that, Daemon stayed completely silent. Before anyone knew it, a four-inch-long needle suddenly shifted from his palm to between his thumb and index finger!
Without looking, Daemon pricked the needle into a major acupuncture point on Jin Dong's chest, near his heart!
"One-handed acupuncture?!"
Jin Dong noticed that Daemon was grabbing onto the Golden Statue with his left hand and applied the needle using only his right hand, which shocked him tremendously to the point that he did not even notice the slight pain from the needle breaking his skin!
