MARSAurora stayed by my side as we walked with our pack and the other gods toward Hella’s kingdom. She laid a hand on her stomach almost instinctively and continued forward, glancing over at me every now and then.
She’d had a dream of our daughter last night, the same one that I must’ve had.
I stared down at my mate, knowing that I had missed so damn much of her pregnancy and that we were missing years of our daughter’s life. Aurora had said that she looked to be much, much older. If our dreams were real time, then our daughter must be almost ten by now.
