Amara looked up at Kai with a look of wide-eyed innocence, and a yawm escaped her lips. Reaching out, she tugged on his shirt. Immediately, Kai's attention was drawn to Amara. "Yes, little moon?" "Im tired." Amara said with a yawn. Instantly, Alpha Kai dropped down and swooped her up into his arms, a giggle escaping her lips. Protectively, he held her in his arms as they made their way to the Alpha wing, alongside his brothers and mother. Ignoring the stares and whispers of their pack. They all were curious but respecting their privacy, for they all had found the bond snap into place. Once in the Alpha wing and shut the door. “Is that all that you found with her?” Luna Rosalie asked as she looked at what Nickolas was holding. “Yes.” Alpha Jayson said. Luna Rosalie nodded her head and slowly walked to Nickolas. She had him lay the carrying bed on the table, and she walked over to it. Placing Amara into it, she began to rummage through the handmade bed. It was then that she found the letter. Delicately, she unfolded the homemade paper and set it on the table so she could read it. The note read: To whom finds this letter . If you have found this letter, it means that I am most likely no longer of this earth and that you have found my beloved daughter. Please, please protect her. With you finding this, I know that you are good. The spell would have hidden her otherwise I was traveling to the Moon Guardian pack. Please bring my daughter there along with this letter there. Luna Rosalie has always been a dear friend to me, and in my death, she is who I entrust my daughter to. Ivy Luna Rosalie’s eyes welled with tears as she read the letter, and sorrow filled her. The Alphas feeling her mothers’ distress asked “are you alright, mother?” “No everything is not alright. Your mate is Little Amara, Ivy’s daughter, and she is yet to know. They were attacked on their journey. Yet i am so relieved they are here. Your young mate is even more special than you can ever imagine.” “What do you mean?” “Do you remember the stories that I used to always tell you growing up?” “The bedtime stories. They weren’t just stories were they.” Alpha Kai said although with his tone it was apparent it wasn’t really a question. “NO they were all true. The letter there was written by Ivy. They were coming here due to the woods in the wild not being safe. Rogues have been attacking and killing many of their kind. Your mate is Fae. More precisely, your mate is a fairy child.” “Yes Ivy was a nature fairy, and Amaras father was a light , magic, and healing fairy.” Amara, hearing the conversation, started bouncing in her little bed and decided to speak. “Rosie.. Rosie… Rosie.” “Oh, Amara darling. Yes, it is me. Luna Rosalie, but your mom always called me Rosie.”. It was then that little Amara began to let her tears fall freely. She was crying over the loss of her mother. She was crying that she was safe. She was crying because her mother had gotten her to where their adventure was to start. Luna Rosalie worked vigilantly to soothe Amara and dry her tears. It was then that the Beta entered the Alphas wing. “Beta Johnson ,what news do you have?” “The scouts made it to the location you requested. They disposed of the rogues bodies. There was something else. However, I don’t know what to make of it.” "Where is it?" “it is here” the scout leader said as he walked into the Alpha wing with a bundle in his hands. He was walking awkwardly like he was carrying it with every precaution. The Alphas gazes were drawn to what he was holding. In the scout’s arms looked to be a bag elegantly crafted exactly like the bed carrier. The bag looked to be sewn shut by reeds and little did they know that it too had been spelled. “Bag bag our bag.” Amara cried as she tried to wiggle herself out of Luna Rosalies’ arms . “You know this?” The Alphas asked although they already knew the answer by her reaction to seeing it. “Mama. “Amara said her eyes full of tears. “Mama made it , it holds our treasures.” “Does it. Then it is a miracle that the scouts discovered it.” “y..yes tank you scouts.” Amara said happily. “you are welcome.” The scout leader said. He found himself wanting to do anything to protect the little girl and to make her proud. There was something special about her, and he couldn’t wait to find out. The scout handed the bag to Alpha Kai. “Thank you that will be all” The Alphas declared. The Beta and Scout leader bowed their head and swiftly left the Alphas wing. Luna Rosalie looked to Amara and knew that their life was about to get interesting. “We need to expand more make space and invite the Fae to live safely. “ “Agreed.” The Alphas said. Once again, Amara tried to get down from Rosalies embrace. “if you want down. Use your words.” “Down please.” Amara said, and Rosalie let her down onto her feet. Amara walked over and took hold of the bag. She carefully sat on the floor and placed the bag on her lap. She started to hum beautifully as she ran her hands over the bag. They gasped as the reeds started to unravel itself until the bag lay open upon her lap. Smiling, Amara reached into the bag. First, she pulled out the large leaf parcel. Laying it on the floor, she gently unwrapped it. With a tearful embrace, she delicately picked up the necklace and opened the clasp. Then she grabbed the ring and placed it on the chain, and then she brought the necklace to her neck. Seeing her have difficulties, Alpha Kai rushed to her side and kneed down beside her. “Do you need help? Will you let me?” His only answer was a nod of his little mate’s head. Carefully, he took hold of the necklace and secured it on her neck. Next, she pulled out a large stack of hand bound books that were handmade. Lastly, she pulled out a framed photograph and hugged it to her. “Amara what is that my darling?” Slowly, Amara turned the photograph as she still clung to it .
