Meanwhile, while all this was happening back at the Moon Gaurdian pack, the Triplet Alphas sighed as their workload only continued to grow. They needed to complete what was in front of them before they were to hold the pack meeting later that day. They held a pack meeting every week in correlation with the pack elders to discuss everything pertaining to the pack, and they dedicated time for members to bring forth concerns or requests. The current workload in front of them was everything that needed to be completed regarding the new pack members they were expecting. A pack was disbanded after a vicious attack made by Rogues, and the surviving members would soon be joining theirs. They would be arriving in less than a fortnight, and there were many things that needed to be completed in preparation. Alpha Kai broke the tension in the office by saying. “Nickolas, why don’t you approve the new blueprints regarding the new pack house and individual housing for the new and current members. Like you have told us before, you have surveyed and know the perfect place to build. “ “On it.” Nickolas said as he walked over and grabbed the pile of documents needed for the task he had been given. “Jayson, why don’t you take the test results from aptitude testing and everything and see if you can match the new members, the new adults, to appropriate positions within the pack and pack holdings. Also, those that will fill positions within the pack hierarchy.” Jayson nodded and stood and came and gathered all the files he needed to complete his task. “I am going to work on finalizing housing and school arrangements. Also, I will be making sure that each new pack members receive their monthly allowances and the changes that need to be made for the pack expenses. Also, there is.” Alpha Kai said, but he was interrupted by a knock upon the door . A second later their mother came into the room, pushing a cart, The cart had three plates piled high with food, Three cups of coffee as well as a fresh coffee pot and some bottles of water. Since they had yet to find their mate, she still resumed the position as pack Luna. With a motherly huff, she said. “I figured you would not take a rest to eat, so I have brought provisions to you. So come eat. I will stay and not budge until you do.” Her tone and facial expressions left no room for arguments . Like petulant children, they stood and came over. Silently, they grabbed a plate of food, some water, and a cup of coffee. Making their way to their own desks, they took their seats. “Now, how can I help?” “we.” Alpha Jayson started to say but was interrupted by Kai. “Actually, mother, there is something you can do to help. It is of utmost importance. As you know, among our new members, there are unfortunately many orphans. We need to run a search and see if we can find any remaining family. If they have family reunification, that would be the goal. We need to see if we can make appropriate matches for adoption within the pack for all remaining orphans. “Alpha Kai said. “Gracious me. I would be delighted to do this for our new members. Children always deserve a loving, caring home.” Luna Rosalie said. “Why don’t I draft plans for an orphanage to be built as well.” “Hopefully it will not be needed and can be utilized differently.” Alpha Kai said. “Agreed .” they chorused as a response. “Remember my dearest friend Ivy and her daughter Amara will be arriving tonight if not tomorrow.” Luna Rosalie said. “I plan on having them use one of the extra bedrooms on the Alpha floor.” “Yes, I remember. I look forward to seeing them again.” Alpha Kai said. The conversation stopped, and they started to eat. After lunch was finished, they set everything aside and went to work. Hours later, right after the last document was finalized, there was a knock that sounded on the door. Upon the opening of the door, Beta Johnathon Lee’s voice filled the study. “Alphas, it is almost time for the pack meeting.” Coming into the room, he stopped at the sight of all the work completed and the Alphas and luna all seated at different desks. “Alphas, Luna.” He said with a slight bow. Even though they have grown up as childhood friends, Luna was like a second mom he held so much respect and esteem for them. “Thank you.” Alpha Kai said as he looked at his friend. “Johnathon, can you please make sure beverages are available for the pack meeting.” “Right away.” Beta Johnathan said as he smiled and left the study and made his way towards the kitchen. The omegas stopped their work as he entered the kitchen. “ The Alphas would like some refreshments prepared for the pack meeting.” Immediately, they set off to work preparing different beverages. . Seeing them hard at work, he made his way to the hall. Meanwhile, the Alpha Triplets stood and stretched their tight muscles. They were itching for a run, though they knew that that would have to wait. Swiftly, they exited the study and made their way to the hall. Standing, they stood poised and tall. Mind linking the pack, they watched the pack members enter the hall a few minutes later. The Pack Elders were the last to arrive. They slowly made their way through the hall and up to their seats in front of the platform.
