“Alright now, let us call this meeting to order.” Alpha Kai said. To start the meeting, they went through all the work they had just finished. Everything was analyzed with detail. Meeting everyone’s approval, they moved on to current pack affairs. They talked first about the pack budgets and planning. Then, I moved on to pack holdings. The pack holdings consisted of business and charities within the packs as well as across the world. Coming events were discussed next. The meeting seemed to be dragging on for hours. The triplet Alphas growled lowly wanting a respite, but it seemed like the meeting was going to drag on, so Alpha Kai decided to step up and speak. “Why don’t we take a break, and in a few minutes, we shall resume.” The Alpha brothers then left the hall and fled into the enclosed garden for some much-needed air. “I am itching for a run.” He said. “I know, brother. This meeting is almost at an end. Then we can go and run free.” Alpha Nickolas told his brother. When times were strained , he seemed to have the more level head and was more reasonable and to be calmer than his other brothers. “I know. Let’s get this meeting over with.” Alpha Kai growled, and they made their way back into the hall. “Let’s resume this meeting.” His Alpha command carried through the air. There were probably about ten minutes of last-minute affairs brought forth from the trainers to the pack, and the Alphas slowly started to seek refuge in their thoughts. It was then unbeknownst to them that an elder brought them out from their mental flight. It was Elder Michaelis that spoke. “In two days’ time, you shall be twenty and have yet to find their mate. It is better for the Alpha or Alphas to have a luna or Lunas by their side.” With concern, he added,”and you have not found your mate.” ‘”Do not speak.” The Alphas growled “A pack is only as strong as they could be with an Alpha pair to lead them.” A female pack member said lowly. It was someone who had heedlessly thrown herself at them at every turn. “Then tell me, why is our pack not only the strongest but the largest as well. There are no crimes, and the pack is flourishing. Already, we are preparing for more members that will be joining within the fortnight. We have ample business and charities that not only benefit our pack but several others in need across the country. Our mother has remained as Luna, and I think she is doing beautifully.” “It is a concern not as to say the pack is suffering.” Elder Rose conceded. “More so we are concerned for our Alphas happiness. We all can see how it has affected you all, not finding your mate.” “So you are suggesting what, forsake our mate and choose another?” spoke Alpha Kai “Just consider it. Since you are multiples, it is even if question if you would have a mate. Or if you do, would you share a mate? Would you each have your own. “Elder Michalis said. “It makes finding one’s mate.” “Who are you to make speculations in regard to our mate or mates or lack thereof.” The Alphas roared. “We just ask that you take into consideration taking a chosen mate. Or there is another option to take a “Elder Eliose started to say. “Would you ask your granddaughters and grandsons to forsake their mate. To just give up and choose another?” Luna Rosalie interjected. “If not, how can you plead that of my sons. To your suggestion, Eliose, it would truly be scandalous and disrespectful to the Moon Goddess. That is an archaic practice, one we shall not indulge.” “We will talk no more on this matter. Now, is there anything else pertinent to the pack that needs to be discussed?” he asked. “You are dismissed, “he said as his question was only met with silence. The Alphas watched as the pack members left the hall. Their anger palpable in the air. “Can you believe them?” he asked when the pack was out of ear shot. “The nerve, to blatantly suggest we take a chosen mate.” Alpha Nickolas said. “It is not as if we can travel extensively, in hopes of finding our mate.” Alpha Jayson said. “And we won’t be taking a toy or a breeder. That is just despicable.” “It is almost as if they want to parade around their offspring or choices of a Luna or Alphas toy, and it is truly sickening, and what do they think they will accomplish.” Alpha Kai growled. . "Let us not talk anymore on this matter, My sons. I know your wolves as well as you are itching for a run. I suggest you indulge.” Rosalie spoke, breaking her sons away from their thoughts. “Let’s go.” Her sons cheered, and with that, they made their way through the pack house and exited out into the chill evening air.
