Norman's POV Soon, the car stopped close to the gorge just as Kane had described. I had gotten through with some of my men immediately Kane had called. I could see the flashing lights from their vehicles ahead. The air was cold, sharp with the scent of pine, gasoline, and something else… something metallic and sickeningly familiar. Blood. "Prince," one of my men met me as I leaped from the car. "He's down there. We've got a team with him. It's… it's not good." I didn't need him to tell me.
