Riley's POV My head felt thick and heavy, like it was stuffed with cotton. A dull ache pulsed behind my eyes, and my body felt like a ton of bricks. Waking up was a slow, confusing process. I blinked my eyes open, the room gradually coming into focus. My room. How did I get here? I groaned.
