Grace blinked back tears as she watched Megan leave with Max all smiles. She was glad that her plan had worked so that they would be together as they should and stop living in pain.
She barely had time to talk with Kade because she was so engrossed in watching the two lovebirds, but now that they had gone, there was nothing stopping her from talking to him.
"Are you alright?" He asked, staring at her intently.
"Yeah," she started enthusiastically. "I'm just feeling emotional because of them."
"Yeah, I get it, your plan worked, congratulations." He said a bit rudely and she frowned.
"None of this would have been possible without you, you also deserve some credit."
"You must be tired, how about I drive you back to your hotel and we can call it a night," Kade said and moved to stand up.
