Axel pushed me into his room harshly. I didn’t have the will to be angry. I’m the one who had made Parker cry. Aaron had made him smile. What was wrong with me?
“What the hell?” Axel said angrily.
“What did you do to him?” Aaron followed.
I sighed. “I told you, he wouldn’t want me to tell you.”
“Why is he crying? What did you do?” Axel grabbed me by the collar. I sat down on the bed.
“I can’t tell you. But it was more than just the one bad thing. There was …something else. He might forgive me for that. Maybe.”
“Well?” said Aaron.
I sighed again.
We were fifteen. I had seen Parker at the end of the day at his locker. I wanted to go up to him but Kinni was giving me a hard time about watching a movie with her that night. If only she’d known how much I wasn’t interested.
