I was more excited than I had any right to be. I had f****d up yesterday and made my love cry.
I know he was just being nice last night and trying to help me clean up. I know he can barely stand to be in the same room as me. That’s why I keep my distance most of the time so I don’t bring terrible memories back to him.
But sometimes I have to be near him. I just have to. He smells so good and if I brush up against his clothes, it makes my day. Seeing him smile is like making my heart beat again, not even knowing it stopped. He makes me calm, makes my head clear.
So I can’t help but make him sit beside me when we eat. It’s the only time of the day I can physically be near him and be stopped from touching him.
What am I gonna do when he rejects me?
