PARKER It must have been another hour before we got out of the water again to rest. It was the best afternoon I’d had in years. Andrew and Aaron played around a lot more with me than Axel. He was withdrawn but he still stared at me and smiled more than I’d seen this whole past week. We swam around for a bit after we went back in but when the sun started going down I realized we might have missed dinner. It had felt like no time had passed.
