Those words ringing in his head, Finn stared his watery eyes at Ethan. The actor’s smile was strained, he could tell even from all the way over there. Sweat was just starting to glisten on his brow. And these people…these fans thought nothing of it, just as he would have not too long ago. Gloria was right. He was just like them.
Suddenly, Gloria shoved Finn out the door, her eyes victorious. “Why don’t you do us all a favor and go play in traffic?”
Finn had no answer and instead stood there, dumbstruck. His eyes started to tear. Turning, he walked down the hallway. He didn’t know where he was going or why. All he needed was for his feet to take him away from there. Far, far away; far enough away that Ethan would forget him, give him a chance
