“Goodbye, Lazarus.” She squeezed the trigger. It clicked, almost inaudibly, and her head jerked to the side, miming a bullet wound. Like a true dead body, Angie dropped to the ground, her gun still barely in her fingers. Ethan, still on his knees, sat there for a good long while, unable to even speak. As he himself knew, he was never good at improv. “Cut. Good job, Gloria.” The rain let up and a buzzer sounded, a few bright lights coming up to illuminate the muddy graveyard.
