HIS VIEW “What is having such an effect on my storm? Where is all that power coming from?” Indra asks his servants and guards. “It’s coming from that direction my lord” responds one of his guards. “My lord your human she is … sparking up” mind linked Branadon one of Indra’s personal guards. Indra went at full speed toward Leizi seeing a massive bolt of lightening coming out of a window shooting into the sky and ground. Was that Leizi wondered Indra. He waited for it to pass then flow inside the house and came straight to her. “Branadon move I have this” Indra informed his guard. “Did all that power come from her?” inquired Indra. Branadon moved out of the way and went to the bedroom “Yes my lord, she got really angry and upset with someone and had no control, so I had to give her aid”. Indra lifted Leizi into his lap drawing off all the excess energy “I am here now Leizi. You are safe now. Everything will be ok.” “Thor?” she responded, “is that you?”. “I thought that I told you to call me Perun, little Leizi.” Indra responded. She continued to explain her choice and explain what was happening. Indra listened to the two humans talk he could feel all her pain and did what he could to ease it. Indra watched her talk to her brother and when she went to hold his hand Indra let go of her gently placing her on the ground. He continued to listen to her words not quite understanding some of the words. He watched her talking to a Keith. When her spoke Indra’s name again he went straight to her side. “How should I know if she should talk to this Jet person” inquired Indra of Branadon. Branadon nodded his head and went to a different room to check. Indra spoke gently to her “Leizi I am so sorry for everything you have been through. I am starting to get an idea of your life. Your life has not been an easy one, has it?”. She responds that she has had a hard life. Then she says the words that will change his life “… The other consent in my life is you.” “What do you mean by that?” responses Indra trying not to sound as confessed as he feels. “I have seen you in the clouds for years, my lord, my Prince of Storms” she responses. “That’s … it’s … not possible” says Indra in confusion. “But it’s true” she says continuing “I will let you think on that, goodnight my lord”. And with that Branadon returned and answered her earlier question. Indra was stunned. But how? It’s not possible she’s human after all. But is she really? Wonders Indra. Indra’s mind is full of confusion. Indra needed more information about this little girl. Indra ordered Branadon to watch over her and left a water and wind sprint to give him aid. Indra went back to the town that Leizi had come from to find any fay in the area that could give him some answers. Upon returning to that place, he sent out his guards to find the local fay or other creatures that might be able to give him the answers that he required. The water sprite that he had sent to investigate Leizi’s past came to him to make it’s report. “My lord, it’s been hard to find out much about the human called Leizi as she rarely leaves her place of residence except to go to work or school. She doesn’t appear to have any friends. No one speaks of her, except at one of the shops where she used to work, they are upset that she left as they must work harder. I have visited her old house, but I cannot get in. I am sorry my lord, I have failed you” reported the water sprite. “Interesting, why couldn’t you get in?” questioned Indra. “There is a house elf my lord” replied the sprite. “A house elf, how interesting. They are exceedingly rare and only live in incredibly old houses and are very loyal to one family. I doubt her mother would be worthy nor deserving of a house elf and the home is not all that old” stated Indra. Indra waved over two of his guards “go with this sprite and bring me that house elf now” he ordered. Not that long after a rather beaten, dishevelled, and emancipated little house elf was brought before Indra crying and in terror. “House elf identify yourself and the house you serve” commanded Indra. “Niall of the house Br …”the elf closed his hands over his month to stop the words from leaving. Hmm, Indra contemplated the little creature, it was still very loyal to his fay house even after the obvious ruin that had befallen it. He tried a different tack “is your master still residing in the home or has she been gone for … about three nights?”. The little elf looked shocked and then panicked “what have you done to my mistress you beasts” he cried out in great distress. “Nothing, except protect her” replied Indra sternly. “But, but, you know what she is don’t you my lord, of course you do. Can I at least say my farewell, and can I request that when you kill her you kill me as well?” Niall sobbed. Niall had done his best to protect his charge while waiting for his masters return that ever seemed to come. Indra was shocked his suspicion conformed. Leizi was defiantly of fay blood. And possibly of a royal fay line if this creatures’ reactions were to be believed. He addressed the pathetic creature “would you like to be reunited with your charge? Because I can make that happen” he waited for the creature to take in his words before continuing “there is one condition I need to know which house she belongs to and who her father is.” The creature could be seen to be arguing with itself, fighting it’s need to be with it’s mistress and keeping her secrets as her secrets were what had kept her safe all these years. He had spent so much time and energy suppressing her abilities or masking them to ensure that she would never be found. He had failed in his duties but even if they killed him, he would not betray her final secrets. “I am sorry my lord, but I cannot. So, you have found a halfling and will do with her as the law states, but I will not betray my lady. Do with me as you wish” Niall stands as tall as he could with what little pride he had left fully expecting to be killed or tortured.   Indra couldn’t help but take pity on the creature. The fay-human war was a bloody affair. This creature must have been sheltered to not know that, that war had ended centuries ago. Indra couldn’t believe that Leizi’s father had abounded her to the human world while he fled to who knows where. Leaving her in the protection of a single creature. This creature may not tell him of Liezi’s heritage but if she ordered it to tell her then it would have to obey. It was the better option than torture as the pathetic little thing looked like it would die way before giving up it’s secrets. Indra addressed his guards “bring that thing, we are going back to Leizi now.” And with that he left to go straight to Leizi. Indra arrived late morning “Hello Leizi, are you feeling any better today?”Leizi replied that she was indeed doing better before asking Indra “how is your day going?” ” I’m glad. My day has been busy not that I can discuss it with you” replied Indra sounding stressed and saddened. Leizi called out to him asking him to take her hand, Indra looked at it before reaching out to squeeze her hand before sitting down on the bed next to her. Leizi signs and leans into Indra before asking him questions which were easy enough to answer he was happy that she appreciated his help. Indra was feeling confused how could she trust him so readily did she not understand the danger she was in? Why did she want to be close to him? It confused him greatly this closeness with another being, it was not something he had ever experienced before. He found that he liked it. He didn’t want her to pull away from him, but he has important things to discuss with her.
