Looking for the Eclipse

Chapter 6

Alex's P.O.V. :

I have been sitting around in my car for the past few hours and nothing is happening. All I saw is one of the girls, Layla I think, leave so the other one must be alone cause nobody else has come in or out.

On more reason to keep an eye out for David.

I just wished I had cought a glimpse of her face in that club the other night. I wonder what this girl looks like. Curiosity is killing me! I will just go up and check out David's former appartment and then I' ll come back and sit in my car until she comes out for whatever reason!

As I' m about to get out of the car my jaw drops as I see David going in the building.

WTF?? That is bad!

I mindlink my dad "Are you or any of your guys close to the girls appartment?"

"No" he mindlinks me back " Why?"

" Because David is here and he just entered the building! Tell everyone to come here cause that poor girl Neli is all alone! I' m going in and I need back up in case he tries to run"

" ALEX NO!!" my father shouts in my head

" Yes!!" I tell him " Just get here and tell the others to come as well" and with that I close up the link.

The moment I enter the building the same faint sent from the club hits me and I stop on my tracks .What the hell is that?!

" ALEX GO INSIDE NOW!!" My wolf Seth booms in my head " HE IS ABOUT TO HURT HER !! I CAN FEEL HER FEAR!!"

" What do you mean you can feel her? Is she..." but Seth interrupts my question with panic in his voice.

"I do not know! All I know is that you have to go in now you i***t!"

Suddenly, I hear David telling her that he is gonna have her ...

HELL NO!!

I break down the door as I see david outside her room already chanding into his wolf form and he is about to break it down!

I tell him to get away from her and he attacks me straight away. He is fully shifted by now but I can hold him off without fully giving control to my wolf.I am an Alpha after all, not the average wolf and top it off I have been a warrior all my life..

He must have realised as much seeing me figting him off without even turning.

My father mindlinks me they are here and I get distracted for a slpit of a second. David takes advantage of that and bolts through the door to get away. Luckily my father' s men were stepping in at the time and stop him.

My attention however is not on him anymore as I hear the poor girl wimpering and my heart breaks for her.

" Get her to come out man, she is freaking out!" Seth tells me concerned.

I mindlink ny dad and tell him for everyone to stay outside until she comes out. The last things she needs is more strangers in her house! He tells me his men are gonna take David in a remote location for interrogation but he is goona stay outside and wait for me. With that our conversation is over and I can fully concetrate on her.

" Seth... I need to know.. is she our mate?" I ask, to find no answer from my wolf

" Seth you better f*****g tell me right now!" I ask him and his answer shocks me.. " I dont know, Alex"

" what do you mean you don't know?! Figure it out!" I snap at him.

" Get her to open so we can see her" he tells me and he is right..

I feel like I need to see her as well.

I approach the door and I start talking to her and something stirs inside me... her voice is sweet even when she tries to be assertive with me and that makes me want to see her even more!

I introduce myself and start a conversation to convince her to open the door .Although her feelings of fear affected me at first, I could nit help but to crack a smile after a while as the sound of her voice made me feel warm.

When she finally opened the door, though, I was done!

I was done with everything else around me cause all I could see is her.

Her sent hit me strong! She smelled of lillies and primrose and her scent was calling me.

Her long brown hair was down to her waist, she was wearing just leggings and, although her eyes were swollen from crying, they were big, brown and looking straight into my soul!

I would not change a thing about her and Seth was definitely on the same page!

" Alex it is her!!! It is her!! " he keeps telling me but I already know.

While I was staring at her she was staring at me, too.

As I'm about to make a move towards her, she suddenly becomes pale and I take a step back not wanting to scare her off.

I'm about to talk to her when she lets out a scream and starts grabbing her head!

Fuck! She is in pain!

As I m leaning to grab her before she falls to the ground she shouts

"HOLD ME!!".

She did not need to even tell me. I take her in my arms and I start caressing her.

" What the f**k was that??" My father mindlinks me.

" Something is wrong with her dad! The son a of a b***h must have done something to her! Get in touch with Jackson and tell him we are going home.! I m getting her out of the city!"

" Alex, I know you want to help her but taking a human and a stranger in the pack is.." my father starts to lecture me but I cut him off

" She is my mate" I tell him

" And she is not human " Seth tells me.

I block my father and ask Seth shocked " Are you sure?"

"Yes but I do not have anything more to tell you. I just started sensing her wolf but she is too weak."

My mate is in and out of consciousness and I cannot focus on anything else...

"You are mine do you hear me? Mine!"

Mine ... I claim her with my heart, with my mind and my words.. I rock back and forth and keep telling here she is mine for her to hear it and for me to believe it. I cannot believe that after all these years without anyone by my side to share my soul with, now I have found somebody.

No, not just somebody... everything... my mate!
