Looking for the Eclipse

Chapter 8

I pull back and stay seated on my bed next to where she is laying. Whatching her on my bed, looking back at me, is a sight I never thought I would see. I can't help the smile on my face. She smiles back at me amused which tells me she still thinks she is dreaming. I need to be careful here...

" So... how are you feeling?" I break the silence.

" Sore but good I guess... All these stories to my students about werewolves, Iguess it was about time I dreamed I was one! " she says and starts laughing.

Goddess her laugh is like music to my ears!

" You said it is the first time this dream makes you feel good.." I say and her mood changes a bit.

" Usually I dream of werewolves specially on my birthday... I see dead wolves during an eclipse and my heart is breaking every time. That is how the dream started today as well but it is the first time I dreamed I was a werewolf!" She says excitedly but her face looks annoyed all of a sudden.

"Would you stop talking already?!??" She says exasperated and I look at her confused.

" I did not interrupt you.. " I say and she smiles at me.

" No not you! The voice in my head. The voice in my head who is my wolf apparently! She is very chatty !"

I start laughing and she laughs with me.

" What's her name?" I ask her amused .

" Sky and she says she wants to meet your wolf... She also says she loves your scent.Well, we actually agree on that one!" She says and smiles.

" We love you scent, too,. Both my wolf and I" I tell her and take her hand in mine.

Every time I am touching her I can feel our bond, it is like electricity is rising betaween us. Our bond is getting stronger and she feels it too. I can tell by the way she is watching her hand in mine.

" Dear lord, this dream feels soooo real!!! The pain, the fear, the goosebumps! When I tell Layla about this she is gonna think I am crazy!" she says bettwen her chuckles.

Layla!! f**k she must be freaking out, plus who knows if David goes back there!

I mindlink my dad to go get her and he tells me it has already been taken care of whatever that means.

" So what do you think is going on ?" I ask my mate, focusing on her.

" Well, I passed out after having a panic attack, because of the events of today, as soon as I opened the door and I saw you. You seemed nice and made me feel safe so I hope you are taking care of me until I come back to my senses. So, thank you in advance Alex!".

Her words make me laugh and I am definitily happy that she feels safe with me.

" Anytime, Neli!" I tell her and she looks at me amused...

" Only my students call me Neli because they can' t remember my full name."

" Oh! And whats your full name then?" I ask curious. My father did not mention that...

" Nefeli" she says and my jaw drops.

What are the odds for this coincidence?!

The irony of it all.. Max took one Nefeli from me and his son gives me another one and she is my mate!

" What is wrong Alex?" The voice of my mate brings me back.

" Nothing.. Look.. I... " I do not know what to say.

I look into her eyes and all I am lost on her.

It is time that I tell her what happened was not a dream but I am afraid of how she is gonna take it.

I mindlink my dad to see what happened with Layla. I want her here for when I tell Nefeli the truth cause she will need some emotional support and I do not know if she would still like me around after that. He informed me that he took the liberty to send Jackson to bring her here to keep her safe. He told him she is human so that he could act accordingly. Thank goddess for my dad, although I know he is still keeping something from me...

" Nefeli can I do something I wanted to since I first saw you?" I ask cause i cannot take it anymore..

" Yes please!" She says excited and chuckles putting her hands around my neck as she sits up.

I chuckle and put me arms around her " So you know I want to kiss you" I tell her smiling.

" Yes." she says " I know because I have wanted that since I saw you as well".

And with that I kiss her.

I tender kiss at first. But as her soft lips were moving with mine our passion grew and we could not get enough of each other. It was like everything inside me was awake again. I pulled her on my lap without breaking the kiss. I want to feel every inch of her. I need to get a grip though and be honest with her before anything goes further.

I pull back from the kiss and she lets out a whimper.

" I know baby" I tell her acknowledging her feelings " but I need to tell you something first.."

She looks at me concerned already

" Do not tell me I have to wake up now!! This is the best part!" She whines and I can't help but smile at her although I'm scared for what is about to happen.

" Kind of.. " I tell her

" Nefeli.. Baby.. this is not a dream. Everything that happened today that involved you, your wolf and me was real."

She looks at me dumbfounded and she goes pale.

She jumps away from me and puts her hand up as a sign for me to stay back. She does not say anything and that makes me more nervous.

" Nefeli.. you do not have to be afraid of me. I would never hurt you!" I reassure her while my heart breaks to see her trying to stay away of me.

" I know.." she says and I let out a breath I did not even know I was holding.

" I don't know why but I trust you" she says and all of sudden Layla barges in and runs to her. The moment she hugs Nefeli they both start crying.

My father comes in and shows me the door.

He is right, we need to leave them alone. My mate needs time...
