Eloise flopped on her bed after changing into a tank and yoga pants and wrapped her sweater around her, needing to feel safe. The drive home played on some buried emotions that were surfacing quickly. She closed her eyes and fell asleep immediately.
“Eloise.” she stirs. “Eloise,” Anna whispers loudly, “wake up, please!”
Eloise pries her eyes open and sees her frantic expression.

“You must go to Nicholas’s office before he kills him!”
