"Oh look at him!" Mr Joe smiled, he was an old man who had served Vincenzo's father. "Do you grow more handsome every day?"
Vincenzo smiled wryly. "You know what I'm here to discuss, Mr. Joe. Is there no way I can avoid marriage?"
Mr Joe sighed. "I'm not the barrister. You need to comply with your late father's terms to gain the full company. You'll soon turn thirty, why don't you think of settling down with someone?"
Vincenzo picked a golf stick. "Settling down? I don't believe in love, you know that."
"Yeah." Mr Joe laughed. "You never dated or brought any girl home. But why don't you try it?"
"I don't want to." He dropped the golf stick. "Parker? I'm done with my schedule right?" Vincenzo asked.
"Yes sir," Parker said.
"Then let's go," Vincenzo said. "See you later, old man." He tapped Mr Joe before walking out.
Mr Joe sighed whilst looking at Vincenzo's back view.

"Mr Vincenzo?" Parker called as they entered his million-dollar mansion.
"Yes? Make it quick Parker." Vincenzo answered, crossing his arms.
"How about the girl you met at the club two weeks ago? Why don't you try to meet up with her and discuss a contract marriage? You marry her, she bears you a child and you divorce her."
Vincenzo smirked. "Why didn't I think of this?" The memories of the club flashed back.
*FLASHBACK*
"Hey, check out that girl." Peters, Vincenzo's friend, hit him. "Why don't you try her out?"
Vincenzo rolled his eyes. "I thought we were here to drink. I should have just gone to a private lounge if I knew you were gonna act like a scoundrel."
Peters rolled his eyes. "Try to have some fun. Just look at her."
Vincenzo turned his gaze to the brunette-haired girl who was sitting with her friends, she winked at him but he just frowned and continued with his drink.
*PRESENT*
"You're so smart, Parker." Vincenzo laughed. "Get me everything to know about her." He said.
Parker bowed. "Alright sir, have a nice night." He said and walked out.
The maids bowed when they saw Vincenzo in, another came to take his suitcase. "Welcome master." He nodded and walked up the curvy stairs to his suite, he removed his tie and dropped on his bed. Memories of his father's last moments flashed in.
*FLASHBACK*
Master! Master!" Joe yelled as he held onto the old man lying on the huge king-sized bed. "Please don't go yet." He held on to his hand, sobbing hard.
Mr. Loomis sighed softly, holding tighter to Joe. "Take good care of Vincenzo. As for my properties, do not hand it all over to him until he marries and gives birth." Mr Loomis coughed out blood and began to breathe shortly, the maids in the room looked at the saddening scene with teary faces. Mr. Loomis was a great man, and a great father to Vincenzo, his only son. "This is my will..." He completed the statement and gave up the ghost.
Vincenzo barged into the room with a worried and confused expression. "What's going on here?!" He yelled. "What's wrong with my dad?" He rushed to Mr. Loomis's side and started to tap him. "Dad? Dad!! No no no, this wasn't the promise. Dad!!!!" He yelled in tears.
