It was early afternoon when I got a message from Lucas.
Lucas: I think the jackass is back. The Luna came to work in lots of pain and tried to hide it.
“That BASTARD!” I screamed out loud in my office. I am in the city at the company doing some paperwork when I got the message.
The dinner at Laria’s family was on Saturday and it is a Sunday. I think I will invite Peter to dinner at the restaurant. This would be a good way for him to see how Carl is with Laria.
I sent back a message to Lucas informing him what my plan is.
Lucas: Sounds good. This way Daddy will see that the jackass is not such a good guy after all.
Me: My thoughts exactly.
Lucas: What happens if she comes up with another excuse?
Me: I hadn’t thought of that. Had she said anything to you?
