It was finally Jane’s birthday, and the family planned a party for her. I had not been able to talk to Lucas as I got caught up doing a lot of alpha duty and Wayne and I were pretty busy. I made sure to take today off for her first big birthday party since being sick. Most of all the seniors and special friends Jane made from other grades were also invited. I have not seen Jane so excited about today. I just hope Lucas behaves himself. I, for one, don’t want to see Jane hurt again. She has become like a little sister to me.
