I slowly opened my eyes and I was stunned to see myself in a dungeon. The incident of yesterday became fresh in my memory and I let out a heavy sigh. Adonis must have ordered for me to be thrown in prison after he found out that I was his mate but was that the right one?
Well, it was Adonis and he didn’t miss any opportunity to hurt me. Rejecting me was already enough, why would he still throw me in prison? At this rate, we would not be able to catch the killer again.
