Simon’s POV The whole cabin was quiet, just like how l like it and the only sound inside was the sharpening of my knife. I usually like to spend this time alone but I had an unwanted visitor, his small hands were clutching a tiny, carved wooden dragon. I kept my dark eyes fixed on the boy. I expected the room to be filled with loud, hysterical screaming and endless tears but this boy hasn't shed a tear since he was brought here. "Aren't you going to cry, kid?" I growled at him with annoyance. "Most children your age would be screaming for their mothers right now." He didn't shrink back.
