Garrett’s POV The sound of metal shovels cutting into ground echoed through the pitch-black cemetery like a nightmare. My heart was pounding so hard that I could barely breathe and my stomach was twisting in sickening knots. I was committing a sin. In our pack traditions, disturbing the grave of a dead loved one was considered a sacred violation but my mind had been spinning in so much chaos over the last few hours that I couldn't stop myself.
