Chapter 1

It was a summer wedding in late afternoon . The hall was beautifully decorated . A huge crystal chandelier was hanging in the middle of hall , giving a hue of golden light .

The chairs were perfectly arranged with round tables in middle with bouquet of white roses placed on centre of table . Spread down the aisle were red petals of leaves giving it a dreamy romantic look .

It was a lavishly expensive wedding and many big businessmen and investors were invited .

Since this was such a huge gathering , people were trying their best to form more connections . Afterall, you don't get such a chance every day.

The most awaited person , groom arrived and people surrounded him to congratulate . But he just nodded his head to those pleasantries and signalled his assistant to push his wheel chair to stage .

Yes , he was on wheelchair . But no one dared to gossip about him . He was the number one business tycoon and no one present there dared to offend him .

The wedding started and people occupied their seats . The once busy hall was now quite and every one was waiting for bride to arrive .

Some minutes passed by but bride was no where to be seen . The groom sent his assistant to know for the reason of delay .

Sometimes later , the assistant arrived and whispered to his boss , " Sir , the bride is no where found and her family is still looking for her ."

The groom , whose face was neutral till now , showed a little change of expression . But his assistant was unaware if this was because of anger or sadness .

Another hour passed by and still the bride was nowhere to be found . People started gossiping about the reason why she was not here .

The reason couldn't be any obvious . This wedding was merely a business and maybe bride run away cause her groom was wheelchair bound .

But still it was bride's family who was getting the longer side of stick because the groom was number one business tycoon in country , with net worth in billions and there was nothing special that bride's family could offer him .

Anyways, finally bride's father announced that bride was missing and soon the guests left the wedding venue .

The groom too left without any delay with his assistant . He didn't even waited for his family .

He didn't go home and asked his driver to drove him to his penthouse . Coming to penthouse , he dismissed his assistant and was left alone .

He got fresh and changed his clothes and started working with no care about what happened earlier .

He didn't even care to eat food and was going over some files which he needed to review before signing .

Suddenly his phone vibrated , indicating about an incoming call . He glanced at caller ID and picked up his phone .

" Yes ? "
