Rina's pov

1254 Words
Jake was both ecstatic, nervous and shocked over the sentence Henry just made. He didn't even have enough time to comprehend the magic and mind-blowing things he just saw but he's getting even more goodnews! "Please tell me you're serious, because I can bring whatever amount you'll request for but please I just want my baby back" he pleaded kneeling on the ground. Henry laughed, shook his head and said "just two humans have seen what you just saw, one of which is a part of us now. I'll help you and let you go not because I'm kind hearted but because we'll both benefit from this" taking a sip of wine from the wine glass that mysteriously appeared in his hand. Jake closed his eyes to calm down to digest what he just heard calmly replied "okay, I'll go bring her right away but.." pointing to the walls he continued "there is no door" "Oh that! I told you it's all an illusion, walk towards where you think the door was and open" Henry said laughing " this is the weakest illusion spell a day old baby can cast" he said and disappeared. Left in the room, Jake scratched his head and walked to the wall and touched it, the a brown patch colour was seen, he just kept moving downwards until the touched the doorknob. Smiling to himself, he turned the knob and opened the door. Walking straight down the lobby, Jake stared straight ahead and found out Pete was staring at home too. They both locked gaze, smiling, Jake half ran all the way down to Pete giving him a huge bear hug "I've never loved you this much before" Jake gave him a loud peck on the head which stunned Pete so much that he felt this was all a dream. Maybe he drank too much the alcohol is resurfacing now. "Are you okay?" Jake asked looking at the zoned out young man in front of him. "Earth to stupid" he flicked his fingers in front of his face before Pete became conscious of his surrounding. "Brother, what happened?" He asked "Let's go get your sister in law" Jake said and Pete jumped excitedly and suddenly froze, he turned to Jake "wait, does this mean everything I watch in movies are real? Like zombies, vampires, witches, cyborgs, talking walls....." He kept on listing things he has seen in movies as they both went out to the place the car was parked. Jake interrupted him saying "it's okay, not all of them are real especially the demon chicken" he said and stretched out his palm asking for the keys "keys please?" Pete threw the car keys to him and slid into the front passenger seat. After buckling up his seat belt he decided to ask what has been bothering him. "Are those priests like really spiritual, like the ones that can free a family from the ghost haunting them? He asked "I don't know, all I know is that they so magic or something spiritual but there's a 75% chance they can help My Rina. I said it before Rina can't just leave me without another option" smiling, Jake kept looking forward to seeing his baby smile at him again. It's been months since he last saw her smile and it's killing him! Clenching his hands around the steering wheel and his teeth, Jake kept remember how in pain her face looked during the last moments he had with her. He pulled over and got out of the car. Pete was so confused, he got out and walked to him "What's wrong?, Rina is going to be fine isn't that the best part??" He asked his weird big brother thinking about how stupid people were to call him the weird one. *I mean Jake, never had a girlfriend, was extremely fast and intelligent in school, was so quiet that you might think he's dead even when he's asleep. When he found love, he literally chased after her like she stole his child and people think those are normal traits??" He asked in his head and sighed *maybe they're the weird ones" he thought "Drive" Jake said and walked over the the front passenger seat "Can you not act like you're on you period please?" Pete grumbled and entered the car, driving straight for Jake's house. This should be the longest 24 hours he'll ever have in life! When he parked the car, Jake just dashed straight into the house, no caring about his big boss image in front of his workers at all. "Where's my wife?" He asked the butler "Madam is sleeping in her room, I asked Mary to clean her up and change he clothes" the butler respectful answered and earned a warm smile from Jake who then rushed up to their bedroom to find her laying there peacefully and smelling fresh. He cracked, his emotions cracked, his eyes watered, his heart felt heavier and his voice turned hoarse as he stared at her. He managed to mutter "baby" while softly stroking her head. "You'll be fine, you'll be fine" he continued in his hoarse voice as two streak of tears came rolling down his eyes. --let's get to know what Purina is going through as well- After she was successfully dragged through that door, Purina found herself where her grandfather was with some strangers she's never met before. She wanted to take another step but felt frozen in one place, she tried forcing her feet down but it couldn't get down. She then looked up with tears in her eyes and called on her grandfather " Grandpa, help me" "Drop the back pack child" he said softly to her She abruptly started shaking her say "no way, I know of I drop this backpack I'll die in real life. I still hear Jake calling out to me from inside this backpack, I feel holding on to it will take me back home" she said and started crying "Baby, your human has to die before you can live again" he said walking closer to her but stopped a few steps away. "I don't want to live here, I know you're dead and so is grandma but how come I'm not seeing her too?? I really don't want to join you granny at least not now" she said tearfully Sighing her grandfather told her, you messed with powers you shouldn't have, time runs a lot faster here than the real world, you will be reborn but you just need to drop that backpack" he said "Why??! Why can't I hold on to the only meaningful thing to me right now? I mean you're dead yet I'm seeing you! I'm trying to hold on to the only thing that makes sense and you're asking me to drop it??" She screamed at him angry this time. Nothing made sense, at one point when she was still sick she kept passing out for hours and coming to this place where there's always some sort of force pulling her towards that door but Jake's voice from the w backpack always brought her back. Now what? What will she do? What she she even do? He thought in her head but it felt like she couldn't even think for herself anymore because of the stares he began reviewing from the people there. "We can all hear you and we understand your plight. But drop this backpack everything will make sense" he said softly to her.
