Flynn and Tanya were a few minutes late to the gaming session again. Tanya had opted to “borrow” some of Kaya’s make-up to cover up some of her blemishes. “Once my facial hair starts coming in, I won’t care as much, but I’ll be damned if I get awkward glances all day just because my face looks like it was attacked by fire ants!”
Nevertheless, everyone was relieved to see them. “I thought I was going to have to postpone!” Matt said. “Now that we are all in attendance, let the fun begin!”
Based on Matt’s hint at the end of the previous session, the entire group was on their toes. Flynn wanted to activate his Detect Trap at every corner, but he needed to save his motes of energy in case he had to spend them on more powerful skills.
