Flynn ended up getting the job. Initially, he thought it was too weird to exploit Tony’s last kindness rather than get a job on his own merit, then he decided it would be salt in the wound to not accept his help. The job was great. He finally got to put his degree to good use. His coworkers were better than his old ones as well. When he mentioned he used to date a trans man, one grinned and said, “My wife is transgender! It’s definitely a different experience, right?” Flynn had smiled uneasily and nodded. He didn’t want to talk about his failed relationship, especially when he was still beating himself up over it.
