“How many times will I tell you this?!...” Celeste screamed from a distance. I squinted my eyes, trying my best to drown out all the noise coming from her. Celeste had been screaming an awful lot recently, an activity which I linked to being angry at me and just trying to get my attention. I didn’t care much about what she tried just to get a hold of a little bit of my attention, because she had not cared about me as well and I could barely stand her ego. I knew she only needed a favor and was going to return to not caring about me as soon as I granted her the favor, so I was not about to do as she pleased.
