CASPER’S POV I stepped out of Vince and Anna’s home with my mother and Celeste. It was our third consolation visit to them. I had so much pity for them because they had lost so much in just a couple of weeks. The two young ladies they had raised over the years were gone and it was heartbreaking not just for them, but for all of us at the pack house. Worse still, we didn’t have any idea who these crazy attacks were from or who was their own. It was a messy situation. “What’s going on mother? This is painful and the fact that we don’t even know who is planning all these attacks is even more painful” I said, facing my mother. Celeste dabbed her eyes with a napkin. She had been crying since the day of Astrid’s death. According to her, Astrid had been her best friend among all her friends.
