RIVERA’S POV
I avoided Rafael all week. I was on the lookout for him whenever I left my room and I hid whenever I saw him. I didn’t know if he cared that I avoided him but I wanted him to realize his mistakes. I watched him go about his duties for a whole week without even caring to stop by my room, to at least talk. I didn’t want to feel silly for leaving him by the springs, but I was starting to. My biggest fear was happening right in front of my eyes. Just like Casper and Zayn, Rafael would leave me.
Willow caught me hiding from Rafael a few times and wanted to know why. I told her everything and she encouraged me to talk to him about what I wanted instead. I couldn’t do that because it would make me look vulnerable to him and I couldn’t afford to look vulnerable so he wouldn’t see an
