Scarlett was a year old already and therefore old enough to start her trainings, just like the rules of the pack house stated. Equally, I was due to return to performing pack duties once again, instead of spending my afternoons with Scarlett doing her favorite activities. I often complained about how my pack duties would leave me tired and stressed before I even met Rafael, but after giving birth to Scarlett, spending every passing minute with her made me both glad and stressed. I was sad to let her move on to the next phase of her life, but I was equally glad to work and feel useful around the pack house again, after so long.
