CHAPTER 02 : ACCIDENTAL LIPS

(We arrived at the pizza store and got our table. We waited for the waiter to come and take our order. Then suddenly, a man entered the store and looked around.)
(He looked at our table and walked up to us. I was really confused and didn't know who he was. He stopped next to me and looked at me in the eyes. My friends were as confused as me.)
The man : "You didn't apologize for what you said to me earlier in traffic, ma'am."
(My friends looked at me really confused and wanting answers while I just stood there in shock, remembering that it was the guy that I called him blind.)
Me : (looks at the man with a funny face)"Ooohhh, right. I must've forgotten about it. Look, I was in a hurry and that's why I couldn't be able to apologize to you. Now that you are here, I can do it. Mind going outside with me?"
The man : (looks at me suspiciously) "Okay."
(I stood up and went outside and he followed me. I went in a dark alley where no one will be able to see us. When he was about to take a turn around a corner, I quickly grabbed him by the hand and kissed him on the lips and then I pulled away.)
(I was really shocked and stunned that I didn't kiss the man, but I kissed Ace, my male best friend and also my secret crush. I felt so embarrassed that I couldn't say anything.)
(He looked at me really shocked and just gave me a half smirk and walked away. A few moments later, the man walked upto me and pulled me in for a kiss. I was still shocked and couldn't do anything.)
(I just went close to him and kisses him. After a few moments, he pulled away and left. I went back inside the store and joined my friends.)
Jessica : (looks at me with a serious face.) "Emily, Who was he? And what did he meant by "apologize"? "
Me :"He was some guy that I accidentally insulted while I was stuck in traffic and he meant nothing."
Jessica : (looks at me in a skeptical way) "Okay."
(Just then, a waiter came to us and took our orders. As I made my order, I was about to hand him my menue and when I looked up, I saw that it was Ace.)
(My face turned red with embarrassment and I just froze like a statue. Jessica noticed that I was acting strange and she snapped her fingers in front of my face and I shaked my head and came back to reality. I stood up and ran to the women's bathroom and Jessica followed me.)
(I walked in and looked at myself in the mirror. Jessica walked in and closed the door behind her and walked upto me.)
Jessica : (leans against the wall) "You know Emily, you gotta move on. He's already taken and has kids."
Me : (looks down) "It's not about that. Besides I already moved on."
Jessica : (looks at me) "Then what is it about?"
Me : (sighs and looks at Jessica) "You know that man that walked upto me. His apology was to kiss him. So I was supposed to kiss him and I did. But......."
Jessica : (looks at me shocked) "Wait you kissed him!?"
Me : (sighs) "Yeah. I kissed him after I accidentally kissed Ace."
Jessica : (looks shocked) "You kissed Ace?!"
Me : (Covers my face with my hands) "It was an accident and it kinda felt good."
Jessica : "That's wrong Emily, and you know that."
Me : "It was an accident."
Jessica : (sighs) "Okay let's just go back, I'm pretty sure that our food must be getting cold."
(I nodded and walked back to our table with Jessica behind me.)
(I sat down and Jessica sat across me. A different waiter came back with our food and we started to eat.)
(After a few hours, when we were done eating, we left and drove off. I dropped off everyone at their place and headed home. When I arrived, I decided that I should text Jason, just to check up on him.)
(I took out my phone and looked for his contact number and I realized that I didn't save it and it got deleted. I felt so stupid for not saving it.)
(I went to bed feeling sad and a bit happy that I kissed Ace, the man that I always had a crush on. I couldn't sleep properly because whenever I closed my eyes, I only saw Ace's face.)
(That didn't last for long because I was so tired that I eventually fell asleep.)
