LOVE IN TRAFFIC

CHAPTER 04: A DAY OF SURPRISE

(I arrived at the cinema and went to the parking lot and parked my car. I locked it and ran to the entrance of the cinema.)

(When I got there, I saw Ace with his wife and their twin sons waiting in line. I joined the line and tried to not get noticed. I took out my phone and asked Jessica which movie she was watching and she told me that it was "Love in the subway.")

(After Ace and his family got their tickets, it was my turn and I got a ticket for the movie.)

(I ran to the room and saw Jessica in the first raw so I joined her. Just when I was about to sit down, the movie ended and Jessica looked at me holding her laughter.)

(I looked at the screen while my mouth was open and I was really disappointed.)

Jessica : (tries not to laugh) "Well at least you saw the credits and the ending part. It's a new record."

Me : (looks at her with a narrow face) "Seriously, Jess? Let's just leave."

Jessica : (stands up) "Okay, Emily."

(We left the cinema and went to the parking lot, where I parked my car. We went to my car and I unlocked it and we got inside it.)

(We drove off to my place just to chill. When we got there, we got out of the car and went into my messy, untidy and dirty apartment.)

(I started to clean up the apartment while she just looked around thinking of helping me but just leaving me do all the work.)

(After a few minutes of cleaning, I was done cleaning and joined her on the couch with some popcorn and drinks.)

Jessica : (grabs a bag of popcorn and opens it) "So..... Anything good happening today?"

Me : (sighs) "Nothing good is happening."

Jessica : ( looks at me and raises an eyebrow) "Really?"

Me : (smiles) "Well.......earlier today, I was looking for a job, then I found it. I applied for it and after a few minutes, I got a call and they told me that I should go there for interview."

Jessica : (looks surprised) "Wait. Really?!"

Me : "Yeah."

Jessica : "So you found a job on your own. That's amazing."

Me : "I had to after I asked you like 20 times to offer me a job at your company but you refused."

Jessica : "Look. I had to do it. You are my best friend and I really wanted to help you out but giving you a job at my company, was gonna be a distraction to me."

Me : "Yeah. You're right."

Jessica : "Sooo......... Is it the only good thing that happened to you today?"

Me : "Ace came to my apartment earlier."

Jessica :(looks shocked) "What?!"

Me : "Yeah."

Jessica : "What was he doing here?"

Me : "He just came to check up on me as an ordinary normal male best friend."

Jessica : "Was it about.... You know."

Me : (slowly looks away) "Maybe."

Jessica : (covers her mouth with excitement.)"OMG!!!So what did he say?"

Me : "Nothing. But he also wanted to hang with us but I told him that he couldn't because it was girls only."

Jessica : "You could've just told him that if he wanted to join us he could've done it."

Me : "Sorry but I couldn't. Anyways, have I told you that I met a man of my dreams at a traffic jam."

Jessica : (looks interested) "Spill the tea girl, and don't leave any details out."

Me : "His name is Jason and he's a traffic cop. He has a body of an underwear model and a face of an angel and his eyes aren't just ordinary eyes, they are out of this world."

Jessica : (looks more interested) "Then what happened?"

Me : "I asked for his number and he gave it to me and I accidentally deleted it. A few hours ago when I was stuck in traffic again, I met a guy that looked like him and he said that he was his twin brother. I'm guessing they are identical because they looked alike."

Jessica :"Wow. So you just lost the love of your life just because you accidentally deleted his number? Girl, you are really clumsy."(starts to laugh.) Did you ask his brother for his number?"

Me : "No I didn't. Wait...... Why didn't I just ask him? What the f**k is wrong with me?! Uuugghhh."

Jessica : (laughs) "I've never met anyone as stupid and clueless as you."

Me : "That's not funny. Anyways, Do you have any plans this weekend??"

Jessica : "Uhh.....No I don't. What do you have in mind?"

Me : "I was thinking if I get the job, we could go out and celebrate at this club just a few blocks away. I just wanna check it out."

Jessica : "Okay. Should it just be us only or invite the boys too?"

Me : "They can come. Even Ace if he wants to and yeah he can bring his wife too."

Jessica : (smiles) "Okay. Well, I have to go now. See you tomorrow."

Me : "See ya."

(Jessica got up from the couch and left. I started tidying up the table and when I was done, I ordered my favorite banana pizza and I was told to wait for 30 minutes and if it was a minute late or seconds late, I will get it for free.)

(I sat on the couch and watched the TV. 31 minutes later, I heard a knock on the door and answered it.)

(When I opened the door I saw a familiar face. I analyzed the face and was shocked that it was Daniel.)

Me : "You are a minute late, Daniel. I guess this pizza is free."

Daniel : "Well, I did it on purpose."

Me : (smiles a bit) "I know you are lying and also you work two jobs?"

Daniel : "Yeah. Traffic cop during the day and pizza delivery guy at night."

Me : "That must be tough."

Daniel : "Yeah but I'm used to it."

Me : "Well if you have time, you could join me for dinner."

Daniel : "That would be great, and also my shift just ended a few minutes ago."

Me : (moves aside) "Come in."

(Daniel walked in and looked around. Then he put the pizza on the coffee table.)

Daniel : (looks around) "Well you have a pretty small and cool apartment."

Me : (blushes a bit) "Was that supposed to be a compliment?"

Daniel : (sits down) "yeah."

Me : (closes the door and walks over to the kitchen) "Okay. Thanks. Let me get some plates."

(I opened a carboard and took out two plates and two glasses. I went to the living room and put them on the coffee table and sat next to Daniel.)

Me : (grabs the pizza box) "I don't know if you are a fan of this kind of a pizza flavor."

Daniel : (smiles ) "Let me guess, is it a banana pizza?"

Me : (looks shocked) "How did you know that?"

Daniel : "It's my favorite. I don't know why most people hate it."

Me : (opens the box and takes out 2 slices of pizza and puts them on Daniel's plate. Takes out 2 slices of pizza and puts them on my plate.) "I forgot a drink. Which drink do you want?" (gets up and going to the kitchen and opens the refrigerator.)

Daniel : "Uh... I think I'll have lemonade."

Me : (turns to look at him with a smile) "Are we like connected somehow?"

Daniel : (laughs a bit) "Maybe we are."

(I took out a jar of Lemonade and took it to the living room and put it on the coffee table. I poured some lemonade for me and Daniel and we started eating while we were chatting.)

(I thought that maybe Daniel would be the guy that I was looking for because we have so much in common and I kinda started developing some feelings for him.)

(A few hours later, we were done eating and Daniel was about to leave but it was so late that he asked me if he could sleep over and I agreed.)

(We went to my bedroom and there was only one bed so we had to share it but he tried to tell me that he could sleep on the floor or the couch but I insisted and he eventually gave in.)

(I changed into my pyjamas and I thought that I should let him borrow some of my pyjamas but he didn't want them. I got in bed and turned my back to him as he took off his clothes and left with only his boxers and socks.)

(He got on the bed and covered himself with a blanket and turned off the light. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. I turned to him and saw his perfectly hard muscles and awesome six packs and juicy thights.)

(I knew what I'll do would be a little creepy but it was a once of opportunity in a lifetime and I couldn't miss it. I took some pictures of him and went back to sleep.)
