Chapter 32: A Bizarre Conflict

The Linzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Trade is located in Chaolan District of the provincial capital. After washing up at home, Xu Yu went downstairs to the bureau.

On the way, he received another call from his mother, who gave him the number of his old classmate.

After thinking for a moment, Xu Yu decided to dial the number directly on the way. After all, he had nothing but his ID card, and he needed to at least get their approval first.

The call connected quickly, and a pleasant female voice came from the other end, "Little Xu, right? I was just about to call you. Hehe, I've already made the arrangements here. You can report to the General Affairs Section anytime."

"Hello, I'm Xu Yu. I transferred from the Ningcheng City Economic and Trade Bureau. I'm here to report for duty today," Xu Yu replied with a smile, stepping towards the woman. "Is Section Chief Yang here?"

"Oh, you're the new colleague?" Upon hearing this, the pretty woman's smiling face changed slightly, but she quickly smiled again, "Section Chief Yang hasn't arrived yet. Please sit down and rest for a bit."

"Thank you," Xu Yu nodded slightly, but then walked towards the woman and said, "Let me help you."
