Half Breed

I was only smelling her.

After work i was most times locked up in the room and  left alone a while but most times he forgot to lock up  so my curiosity got the best of me and I wondered around often without his knowing. I would jiggle all the door knobs but they were all always locked until one wasn't. I was so shocked I didn't know what to do I took a step back and stared at it. The door knob turned on its own and all I could do is watch as it swung open and i  laid my eyes on him for the first time.

" wh-o are you ?" I asked

" I'm Malik " the handsome blonde said

I knew that name vae threatened JK to hurt Malik if he hurt me and now here he was in front of me.

" I'm Draya how long have you been here ?" I asked

" I live here I have for a long time " he said

" me too" I replied.

" you must be vaes mate I'm JK's mate " Malik said

" vae"s mate ?"

I asked

" yeah only coven vampires bring there mates here. Haven't you met anyone from the coven ?"

 Malik asked

I shook my head.

Malik's eyes went red and I was caught off guard by his sudden movement towards me.

" your human !" Malik said shocked.

Malik pushed me against the door bringing his nose to my neck and smelling me.

" so vae's got himself a human mate what was he even thinking and why didn't JK tell me " Malik said aloud.

" your a-a vampire too?" I asked

Malik moved away from me and crossed his arms against his chest.

" yes I am everyone in the coven is but you" Malik explained.

"Maybe he's going to turn you " Malik suggested.

" Malik stop scaring her " a dark haired vampire appeared in the hall. I jumped back getting away from him and accidentally bumping into Maliks chest.

" I guess it's finally time for us to meet Vae's pet " the stranger said.

" Howard this is Draya and  this is Howard " Malik introduced. It seemed everyone knew about me but I didn't know about them.

" what's going on here ?" Vae hissed coming down the hallway.

He pulled me into his chest away from Malik.

" why are you messing with my mate ??"

Vae shouted and I was shaking his grip on my waist pulling me to him was painful.

" w- e were just talking " Malik began

Vae put his finger in Malik's face wagging it.

" you wanted to bite her " vae growled kicking Malik's leg out from under him and he fell to the floor.

JK was at Malik's side in a flash and then I blinked and he had Vae by the neck throwing him into the wall at the end of the hallway.

Everything was happening so quick there were now more vampires around me one cuddling Howard and a tall one next to a feminine darker haired one. Vae slammed JK threw a door And the fight continued. Until someone broke it up I was surprised they even listened but they did and soon they were walking back over to us.

" what are you fighting about?" The guy asked

Malik  was standing now with his arms crossed.

Malik slapped Vae across the face and before Vae could act I had punched Malik without a thought.

" what the hell stop this ?" The man said between Vae and JK

JK growled at me and i buried my face in Vae's neck  he wrapped his arms around me shielding me. I was a coward I didn't know what came over me I was angry that Vae was bleeding from his lip. I looked up at Vae with big eyes and he smiled down at me so sweetly looking so gentle the blood gone now but how?

" why the f**k are you both hitting me ??" Malik shouted.

" what's going on ?" The guy asked again but this time he looked demanding and i could just feel it in my gut he was in charge here.

" they were bothering my mate so I knocked Malik down and JK started the fight " Vae explained

" we were not bothering her at all we were just talking introducing ourselves that's it" Howard said cuddling into his blonde male mate.

" Vae you overreacted " the one in the middle yelled over everyone who were arguing back and forth.

" okay maybe I did but she's mortal and Malik wanted to bite her I felt it he's attracted to my mate " Vae growled

JK looked at Malik he didn't seem upset but he was silently scolding his shorter mate.

" is that true ?" JK asked

" there is attraction but I only smelled her I didn't try to hurt her just ask her " Malik said

I nodded.

"He didn't do anything " I looked up and told Vae.

Vae nodded back kissing my forehead.

" so a misunderstanding " the guy who stopped the fight said

All agreed just to end it.

" okay so since everyone's here let's introduce everyone shall we ?" He said and before I could turn around Vae had carried me at the speed of light to another room. It was the living room with a large fire place lit in the center. Vae sat down with me on a couch the others setting around us.

" Draya this is RJ  our coven leader " Vae explained

" I'm Agust I am Howards mate " Agust said

" I am RJ's  mate and the other coven leader my name's Si " Si said

I smiled and nodded at them I wasn't sure what to say or do. Vae was acting different towards me he was more loving and touchy it was new and I really liked it.

I snuggled into him closer taking advantage of his affection and he seemed to enjoy it as well letting me do what I pleased to him.

" now that we all know one another I think it's time to discuss what you plan on doing with her Vae she can't stay human it's dangerous and she's been here a while now and you have to make a decision " RJ explained
