Chapter Seven -Change of Names

When I was done with my story, the family was speechless and was just staring at us. Mr Marlow cleared his throat and spoke "well you are lucky we are the first people you met" he said. when me and my wife first came to the human room she was pregnant with Ariadne. At first it wasn't easy living with the humans but as time went on we adapted and also discovered that there are lots of other creatures living here too. explained Mr Marlow.we would help you out until you are well settled and have adapted to the human realm, and as for taking over your Kingdom back,I would say you still have a long way to go you don't even know that you are part witch and part mermaid yet explained Mr marlow.thank you Mr Marlow I thanked him. we are grateful we met you guys on our first time in this realm replied Maryse. It is passed midnight already let's get you guys settled in tomorrow we will continue this discussion Mrs Jocelyn said. she took us upstairs and showed Maryse and Clary to their room while I return to the room I woke up earlier. The next day we all woke up and gathered to eat breakfast.after breakfast Ariadne left for school as she called it earlier. all right let's all sit down and continue our discussion of last night replied Mr Marlow .First of all I think you all need a change of name you can come up with any name of your choice and then afterwards I would take you to the registration office and you all can get your certificate to live in the human world said Mrs Jocelyn."why should we change our names I asked in return it is best so that you won't be recognized and beside maybe some of your kind might be here too. Isn't it best for our kind to recognize us Clary asked.yeah but what if they are working for your Aunt replied Mrs Jocelyn looking in my direction. Alright we will change our names but I don't think I can come up with any name choice right now I replied. oh that won't be a problem because I know lots of names you can choose from replied Mrs Jocelyn I could feel her excitement she is such a lovely lady. after some minutes we finally choose our different names I would now go by the name Arya Graymark while Maryse would be addressed as our mother Lucia Graymark and Clary my sister Maya Graymark.we would be known as the Graymark family.well it wasn't a bad idea to change our names after all.well after we register your names I would take you both to register in Ariadne's school next week. Clary asked. The human realm has evolved so we don't use letters for communication anymore except only when necessary.explained Mrs Jocelyn.I would take you all out often so you can explore and learn more but for now I would get you all books so you can read and be enlightened more said Mrs Jocelyn. I forgot to ask how old are you my dear" she asked looking at me.I am sixteen I replied her.wow you are same age with my daughter Ariadne. she exclaimed.How about you? she asked pointing at Clary. I am fourteen Clary replied.Wow this is so nice.Honey you won't believe that she is the same age with our Ariadne said Mrs Jocelyn pointing at me the moment Mr Marlow returned to the room and sat down.How about you Maryse? well I am about 400years old replied Maryse. OMG!! this is huge you are even older than my husband.exclaimed Mrs Jocelyn. well that is not what you would tell them in the registration office later. Mr marlow said. Yes Maryse I think looking at the humans you should be about 40 years in the human age.so you will have to tell them that you are 40 years.suggested Mrs Jocelyn.Alright Maryse replied back.we have all concluded with the names now let's head to the registry now.Mr Marlow said.

"My lady umm I mean sis" said Clary stammering.You need to stop calling me "your Lady" Clary I said." yes sis" she replied.so what is it that you wanted to say I asked her.This is the thing that hit you yesterday she said pointing at a big black object the moment we stepped outside. What is that? I asked Mrs Jocelyn.well that is what we use for transportation in this realm.It is called a "Car" replied Mrs Jocelyn.How about horses and Chariots because that is what I read in the history books that humans use for transportation.I told her. Yeah that was in the olden days now the humans have evolved and is more civilized.Mr Jocelyn replied back. Makes me wonder how difficult it would have been to cope in this modern human realm if we haven't met the Marlow's family.
