He was bang on time. I got in the car, and we drove to Ostia, the nearest surfers beach to Rome.
He got out the car and grabbed his board, while I got my bag. It was freezing, not as cold as the UK in early Dec, but pretty cold, nevertheless. I was beginning to think this was a bad idea. But Luca seemed up for it.
