Leah’s POV I wasn’t going to dwell on the things I couldn’t change. So, I brushed myself down and pulled myself back up. The following morning, I put on my brightest dress, slapped on some light make up, did my hair, and went to the kitchen. I was first in there today, so I made everyone a coffee just the way they liked it. Even Alina. She gave me the smallest of nods; blink and you would have missed it. Still, I’d take it. She almost, almost gave me a small smile, but not quite. A ‘thank you’ was pushing it.
