Leah’s POV
The flight was 4 long hours. I arrived at the airport and the heat hit me like a wall of fire when I exited the plane. I sent Kai a quick txt to say I had landed. He was 2 hours behind and I reminded him of this when I messaged.
I still had an hour’s drive left until we reached the manor and by then I would be starving and hoped there would be food.
So, when all is said and done, I didn’t want him to expect much from me tonight, as it’s been a long ass day already!
I grabbed my suitcase from the conveyer belt and made my way to the exit. An effortlessly stylish middle aged Cretan man held up a sign with Leah Barnes written on it.
He had a little stubble on his rounded jaw, and he had warm welcoming soft brown eyes and a wide grin, showing perfectly straight white teeth.
