Assembled in the Oxford Union, which is the University’s debating society, 275 of them against 153 have carried a motion: “That this House will in no circumstances fight for its King and country.” Let King George and the British Empire take notice. If they will insist on getting mixed up in a war, they mustn’t look to Oxford to win it for them. They will just have to muddle along as best they can!
