While Alexis walked out of the house angrily, the breeze served as a coolant to the heat of her anger and disdain. She could hear Haven's footsteps running behind her, trying to catch up.
"Alex, please wait let me explain!" Haven called out, his voice breaking the silence in the quiet neighborhood.
She quickened her steps, her hands swinging vigorously. Tears welled up in her eyes but she held them back, determined not to let him see her cry
Haven held her atm gently, "Alexis, please you had to hear me out. There is nothing going on between Sarah and me."
Alexis stopped abruptly, as he made his last statement. "Nothing you say? Then why were they hidden in your phone?"
"I've explained severally, that's just how she is, it does not mean anything." Haven responded
