  Alexis stood at the window of her flat, looking out at the bustling city underneath. The lights of the city glinted like stars, portraying the horizon with a dynamic shine that appeared nearly deriding. She took a deep breath, her mind dashing with the plan that she had so fastidiously created.   Her spouse was meant to be her everything.
