In the hallway, I glanced at Yzabelle’s apartment unit. Nothing had changed since the last time I broke it. I told the management not to make an improvement for three days, then do it little by little. Make sure to do it as slowly as they can.
And yeah, I was paying them to slack off.
It’s for me to keep hold of Yzabelle in my house.
“Geez! I can’t believe they were this slow,” I heard Yzabelle groan beside me. She was looking at her door too. “I should call the maintenance personnel.”
She was about to dial numbers.
“The materials haven’t come yet.” I said as calmly as I could. I can’t let her know that I am behind the slow progress.
She frowned at me. “How did you know?”
“I inquired about your unit.”
“Oh, you can’t wait to kick me out. I understand,” Her phone in her ear
