Riley had always been the princess in her father’s eyes, a goddess admired by countless boys at school. Even a single glance from her could make someone leap forward, ready to die for her. And yet, she never expected that someone like her could end up being taken advantage of by a little brat.
At that moment, Riley nearly felt murderous rage toward Ethan. But then Ethan said something that caught her off guard—so much so that she nearly choked on her own spit.
“Weren’t you willing to give yourself to him? Ethan must be blind—how could someone like her deserve a guy that handsome?” Riley’s first thought was a mixture of disbelief and irritation.
“Ugh! Handsome my foot! He’s just a jerk. What does he mean by saying that to me? Is he implying I should… you know?” Riley had no time to dwell on Ethan taking advantage of her. She just glared at him, utterly bewildered.
“You little bastard! You pervert! I’d rather die than let you touch me. Who do you think you are?” Riley’s eyes flashed with deadly intent, fueled by indignation.
Then Ethan asked, casually, “Do you have a coin on you?”
“What?” Riley was about to blow up, but Ethan’s sudden, cryptic question made her pause. Her curiosity, however, got the better of her. She asked Freckle, her friend, for a coin just to see what Ethan was up to.
“If you agree to my terms, I guarantee you’ll get your worth.” Ethan grabbed the coin, pressed it hard, and handed it back to Riley.
Riley gasped. Two deep fingerprints had been stamped onto the coin. The force required was immense—stronger than any of her father’s top generals, as far as she knew.
“If you follow me… I can find you different kinds of beautiful women to serve you.” Riley couldn’t believe she had said it herself. But the thought of using Ethan to help her father gain an unstoppable advantage made her feel it was worth the risk.
“But I only want you. Think about it.” Ethan’s smile was wicked—purely mischievous and teasing.
Riley felt a spark of pride. That line would stick in Ethan’s mind. If he truly was infatuated with her, he’d fall right into her trap. Once he helped her father get what he wanted, she could betray him without worry.
Then Ethan suddenly stepped back and exclaimed loudly, “Just kidding! Your chest is flat, your butt’s tiny, your legs have no meat. Women like you? I’m not interested at all.”
Riley froze. Wait, what? Just a moment ago, he seemed infatuated… what’s happening?
“That bastard’s been whispering to me, and now he’s shouting to make everyone think I tried to seduce him. Even if I did, he wouldn’t want me anyway.”
Riley glanced around and saw students pointing and whispering from afar. She could practically see their pity and curiosity.
“You’re dead, Ethan!” Riley swung her hand at him with all her strength.
“Don’t think just because you’re pretty, you can walk over everyone. Don’t think being a little princess lets you do whatever you want. This era is over.”
Ethan grabbed her wrist, flipped her over his knee, and slapped her small, perky butt relentlessly.
“You bastard! I’ll kill you!” Riley struggled and screamed, but the slaps kept coming.
Her friends exchanged anxious glances. They wanted to intervene, but Ethan didn’t play by the rules. Even someone as stunning as Riley couldn’t escape his wrath—if they tried, who knew what would happen to them?
“You bullied me, you bully me? I’m telling my dad! He’ll kill you!” Riley cried like a little girl as the burning sensation on her backside intensified.
“Will you ever target the princess again? Dare to mess with her behind her back?” Ethan’s punishment wasn’t just for revenge—it was because he had learned Riley had set up a trap for Zara. If he hadn’t intervened, Zara would have been harmed. That knowledge made him ruthless toward Riley.
“I—I won’t, I promise!” Riley admitted in defeat. She knew if she pushed back any further, Ethan would find an even more humiliating way to punish her.
“Thanks, Ethan. But Riley isn’t someone to mess with. She’ll surely retaliate in time, so be careful.” Zara watched Riley retreat, concern etched across her face.
