Awake at Last

I’m still a little dizzy when I open my eyes. I soon realized that everyone was over me staring directly at me waiting for me to fully awake.

“Tiana, get a glass of water” I heard Mrs. Fletcher’s voice.

“Yes Mistress”, that seems to be Mr. Alfred

From my view, I saw Mr. Alfred handed a glass of cold water to Mrs. Fletcher. She then gives it to me. I surprisingly feel very thirsty and very sweaty I drank the whole glass. I didn’t have any Idea on what was going on until I saw that grand piano just across the room. It sent chills in my spine. “What happened?” I asked while still staring at the piano trying to understand what’s happening. I was waiting for a reply but then when I looked back to Mrs. Hudson, I realized that her eyes were crying blood. So as Mr. Alfred, Mrs. Fletchers and all of the other. The blood was dripping down their faces which fell to my skin. Their mouths grew bigger made a horrendous smile which stretched from ear to ear. Their hands grew very long, and their feet grew larger, it torn their footwear. At this moment there are two options for me. Fight or flight. I did what I have to do. With all of my strength, I’ll run for my life. I abruptly got up even though I still feel disoriented. The creatures chased me as I ran for the main door desperate to keep myself away from whatever those are. As I was running, the door felt like it draws farther away as I ran towards it. I’m still trying though I can feel my feet getting heavier and heavier. I put all of my strength to lift my feet, but my hands feel heavier and heavier as I move it. I stumbled and finally fall. I can think of anything else to do but to scream. I accepted whatever’s going to happen next but as soon as I opened my eyes. Everything is normal again.

“Are you alright dear?! What’s the matter? Did someone hurt you?”, Mrs. Fletcher asked in a concerned tone

At this point I can't trust my eyes. I screamed at the top of my lungs as if it is the last scream I'll ever do. I grabbed the plunger to protect myself from what's about to happen. I was breathing so heavily but then I realized that I’m in the bathroom in the tub while the water still running, Mr. and Mrs. fletcher is here trying to calm me down.

“We heard screams so we immediately ran here. We needed to use the spare key just to get in.” Mr. Fletcher added

As soon as I realized what’s going on, tears fell down my face. I thought I was going to die. Mr. and Mrs. Fletchers gave me a hug. It felt warm to have parents who’s always there to protect and guide. I forgot how this felt.

“I think I had a very bad dream”, I said while still sobbing.

“Don’t worry dear, we’re here now, you’re safe and we’ll always protect you” Mrs. Fletcher said while freeing me from the hug and handing me a towel. Mr. Fletcher realized that I wasn’t wearing anything so he quickly went out to give me some privacy. It is quite awkward to be seen like this but I’d rather choose this than those b****y eyed, huge smiled creatures. Plus, the bubbles are still there to cover my everything. Mrs. Fletcher got up and quickly handed me my towel.

“Thanks… Mom” I can’t believe I’ll say that word to anyone ever since my real Mom died. I’m feeling slightly emotional again.

She showed a very warm smile while tears ran down her cheeks which she immediately wiped away.

“Get changed and go downstairs dear, we’ll be waiting for you at the dining room”, I realized that Mr. Fletcher was just waiting outside the bathroom. Mom got of the bathroom while I ran to my room to change.

“Ok Dad, I’ll go”, I replied before I went in my room.

I went down stairs and we ate dinner together. All went well but the hallucinations were getting stronger? I  know I finished taking a bath then went down but how did I end up at the bathroom asleep?
